Prince Harry’s ‘worst nightmare’ as he’s sent two-word warning by Donald Trump in visa row
Prince Harry could face repercussions from Donald Trump if it is discovered that he was dishonest about his past drug use on his US visa application. The Duke of Sussex has lived in Montecito, California, with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, since stepping down as a senior royal in 2020.
The Heritage Foundation, a Washington-based think tank, has called for the courts to make his application details public. Although this has not yet happened, concerns are growing for the prince, as President-elect Donald Trump has made it clear that if Prince Harry did lie to gain residency, he would take “appropriate action” against him.
Nile Gardiner, director of The Heritage Foundation’s Margaret Thatcher Center, is pushing for the records to be released, sparking worries about what this could mean for the future, given Trump’s perceived dislike of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Concerns for Harry’s visa come after royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams opened up about the couple’s plans during this festive season. He suggests that due to the “huge rift” between Harry, Meghan and the rest of the family, it’s “likely” they won’t be invited by King Charles for future festive reunions.
Speaking to the Express, Richard recalled: “Harry and Meghan spent Christmas at Sandringham in 2017, when they were engaged and Meghan was the first fianceĢe to receive an invitation, and were also there in 2018.”
