Princess Eugenie may skip Balmoral reunion as royal fans spot tell-tale sign she won’t go
Princess Eugenie splits her time between the UK and Portugal with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their two children.
Members of the Royal Family are heading to the Balmoral estate in the Scottish Highlands as per family tradition but some notable faces may be missing.
Princess Eugenie, along with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their two children, might not be heading to Scotland for the end of the summer holidays
Eugenie and older sister Princess Beatrice may not be heading up to Balmoral as a source told the Daily Beast, they will likely only be invited to Balmoral Castle if their father, Prince Andrew, is present.
But the Duke of York, who is no longer a working royal, is holed up in the Royal Lodge over fears he may be getting evicted by King Charles.
The sisters have spent much time in Balmoral and spoke of how fond their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, was of the estate, but their return to the Highlands is now in doubt.
Eugenie and Jack often use the Portugal resort as their second home but have so far not shown any plans for Balmoral this year, while the King and Queen Consort have already started staying at the castle.
The Princess of York took to Instagram to post a sweet snap of her from behind walking on a boardwalk towards the beach while holding both of her sons, August, three and Ernest, one, in her hands.
Eugenie looked weather-appropriate in a white and blue summery frock and sandals, while her sons donned similar attire, with August sporting striped blue and white shorts and a light blue and white t-shirt, while Ernest was seen in a green t-shirt with purple shorts. Eugenie captioned her post with a blue heart emoji.
Commentators have speculated that this suggests the family are currently in Portugal, so may not be attending Balmoral this year.
