Inside Princess Charlotte’s secret shopping trip with Duchess Sophie and Lady Louise

Princess Charlotte had a cheeky shopping trip with the Duchess of Edinburgh and her daughter Lady Louise Windsor in London, a royal source has claimed.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’s daughter has reportedly grown very close to her great-aunt, who often takes her to various boutiques in London, according to The Sun.

Charlotte’s sweet bond with Duchess Sophie has been evident during various events as the duo have been snapped speaking and sharing touching moments on several occasions.

Now, a “senior royal source” has come out and claimed that their close bond persists even outside their royal capacity, with the two often going on shopping trips to Chelsea and Knightsbridge.

They told the outlet: “There is a really warm connection between Sophie and her great-niece, which is very touching.”

One of those trips included the duchess’s daughter, Lady Louise, as the trio visited Peter Jones on King’s Road.

The insider said: “Louise adores Charlotte too, but doesn’t see as much of her as she is mostly away in Scotland.”

Lousie has just completed her second year at the University of St Andrews.

The source added that Charlotte’s mother, Princess Kate, is very pleased with her daughter’s close relationship with Sophie, coming as most needed during her recovery from cancer, which has “restricted her own outings”.
