Meghan Markle gives rare insight into Christmas traditions with Archie and Lilibet
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has revealed that she finds each festive season more enjoyable than the last. The 43 year old shares five year old son Archie and three year old daughter Lilibet with Prince Harry. The family now live in California after Harry and Meghan famously stepped back from Royal duties in 2020.
Meghan also mentioned that her Thanksgiving celebrations are typically low-key and she enjoys being near her mother Dora, who lives in the same city.
Regarding the November holiday, Meghan emphasised the importance of ensuring there’s room at the family table for those who may not have anywhere else to go and “for your friends who don’t have family, which is really key.”
Meghan added: “We’re always making sure we have something fun to do. Like any other family you spend time having a great meal and then what do you do? Play games, all the same stuff, someone brings a guitar—fun. ”
It comes after the news that Harry and Meghan will bring a new series to Netflix in December, revealing the “grit behind the glamour” in the high-stakes world of polo.
