Prince Harry and Meghan Markle face fresh blow as new documentary set to feature huge revelations
A new documentary about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is set to spark fresh debate about the couple. The controversial film, titled ‘Harry – The Lost Prince’, will be broadcast on Germany’s ZDF network next month. Promising new insights into Harry and Meghan’s life, the documentary will premiere at 8.15pm on December 3. It aims to delve into Harry’s challenges within the Royal Family and the wider implications of his pursuit for a significant role post his Royal exit in 2020.
It continues: “Even in his self-imposed exile in Montecito, California, he remains a figure of public interest. His commitment to charitable organisations – such as the Invictus Games he founded for wounded servicemen and women – always puts him in the spotlight.”
The film will also discuss how the Duke has “always struggled with his role as a ‘reserve'”. “His disclosures in recent years have caused a lot of trouble within the family,” the promo continues.
“Old versus young, traditional versus modern – the family conflict in the House of Windsor reflects the debate about the future of the British monarchy and its value for society,” the network adds. The creators of the documentary, including award-winning filmmaker Ulrike Grunewald, journeyed to New York to chat with insiders close to the Sussexes and filmed in California, where Harry and Meghan reside.
The team who created the film have also previously produced a special on Princess Kate and The Drama of the Windsors. TIt comes amid news of Harry’s own upcoming documentary series.
