Prince Harry planning ‘major rethink’ as he ‘reaches out to old pals in UK’ – says expert

The Duke of Sussex has reportedly been reaching out to his former royal aides that he worked with to help him spend more time in the UK.

Prince Harry is said to be planning a “major rethink” as he “reaches out to old pals in the UK”, it has been reported.

The Duke, who will celebrate his 40th birthday later this month, is reportedly planning on spending more time in the UK to potentially repair his relationship with his father.

A source recently told the Mail: “Harry is turning away from all sorts of Hollywood publicists and is seeking counsel from his old friends and associates.

“He is clearly reaching out thinking, ‘I need to do something different because what I’m doing is clearly not working’. In short, Prince Harry is rethinking the way he operates.”

Amid reports that Harry has been texting his friends in the UK via WhatsApp, the royal’s former private secretary Edward Lane Fox has reportedly been tipped to plot a major comeback.

Despite this, Mr Lane Fox said last week: “It’s not something I’ve got a view on I’m afraid.”

The paperback version of Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare – which was originally released last January – will be released in October.

It is understood that Harry will not be doing any interviews ahead of the paperback release – and will not be including an updated chapter to the book.

Speaking of Harry’s potential comeback, friends are said to believe that he could succeed if the release is staged with “zero fuss”.
