Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s neighbours give brutally honest opinion on couple

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s neighbours are reportedly “fed up” with the high-profile couple and wish they would move on.

The Duke of Sussex, who turned 40 on Sunday, announced his departure from the Royal Family alongside his wife in January 2020. They later relocated to California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

The couple purchased their £12 million home in 2020, and their neighbours have begun to voice their opinions about one of the world’s most famous duos.

‘Can’t wait for them to go’
An anonymous neighbour gave a particularly harsh critique to The News, stating they “cannot wait for her [Meghan Markle] to go”, reports the Express.

Frank McGinity, a navy veteran residing next to the couple, was less critical but claimed he was “turned away” from their gates.

Reports suggest that Frank, 88, was asked to leave after approaching the gate with some local history films, intending to help the Sussexes acclimatise to their new environment.

He alleged that “they’re not interested”. Frank, who had the films on a CD, described how he was dismissed by the couple’s security team in his memoir, ‘Get Off Your Street’.

Frank expressed his surprise at the couple’s choice to move to the Riven Rock Estate, where residents are “typically” older. He also told the Montecito Journal: “We don’t see them very much around here.”

‘We want to see them’
Earlier this month, Harry and Meghan’s neighbour, Richard Mineards, told The Telegraph he was disappointed he hadn’t seen the pair out and about in the area more.

He noted that Harry is sometimes seen with his security detail during rare public appearances, whether he’s cycling, strolling on the beach, or heading out for a bite.

Meghan has been occasionally spotted lunching with friends or shopping at a market. Richard mentioned that the community is eagerly “waiting for them” and “gnashing at the bit”.
