During his university days, Prince William was considered England’s most eligible bachelor. The future King had several relationships before settling down with Princess Kate.
Before getting serious with Princess Kate and tying the knot in 2011, Prince William had a typical university experience as a single man. Indeed, like his little brother Prince Harry, he had several relationships during the late 90s and early 2000s.

Naturally, as the future King, he still kept his love life somewhat private, meaning not all of the following relationships have been officially confirmed. Moreover, many of his relationships during his time at St Andrews University seemed rather short, but some of them on good terms with several of his ex-girlfriends attending his wedding in 2011.

Davina Duckworth-Chad, 1999
As per Daily Mail, Prince William allegedly briefly dated Davina Duckworth-Chad before heading off to university. Davina reportedly joined Prince William on a cruise in the Aegean Sea in 1999 along with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Davina and Prince William are distant cousins through Princess Diana as reported by Hello!. Davina went on to marry Thomas Barber, the son of a baronet and attended Prince William’s wedding.
Jecca Craig, 2000
Jecca Craig and Prince William reportedly dated in 2000 after the pair met in Kenya, the latter was visiting Jecca’s family ranch during his gap year. According to royal biographer Christopher Andersen, then-Prince Charles had told his son not to string her or Kate (his future wife) along.
Anderson wrote in his book Brothers and Wives:
You mustn’t put her through that, William. It isn’t fair to Jecca.
Rose Farquhar, 2000
As per Hello!, Prince William and Rose Farquhar had a brief relationship in 2000 not long after the young Prince finished his A-levels at Eton, where his eldest son, Prince George may attend.
According to several reports, Rose was allegedly Prince William’s first love, and he had fallen for her after meeting at the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire. They seemed to have ended things on good terms as they attended each other’s weddings.
