Netflix left comments on Meghan Markle’s cooking trailer – the responses are savage | Royal | News

The trailer for Meghan Markle’s upcoming cooking show on Netflix was released last week, sparking reaction from fans worldwide.

The series, named “With Love, Meghan”, will air on Netflix on January 15, with eight-episodes set to show the Duchess of Sussex cooking with her nearest and dearest celebrity friends.

While Meghan, 43, was aware of the criticism she may receive and decided to turn off the comments when sharing the trailer on her new Instagram account, it appears that Netflix did not do the same.

After uploading the video to YouTube, thousands of people were quick to comment on the Netflix trailer, with 33,869 comments underneath the video so far.

The majority of these are negative towards the duchess and the show, with only very few positive reactions.

One comment read: “Made oatmeal buns this morning and elevated them with herbs. I also put extra ginger into my husband’s tea! Netflix, here I come!”

Another said: “Hey Netflix, can I have a contract? I made toast today whilst pursuing joy and elevated it with butter….just being my authentic self.”

A third wrote: “They should make a show on this comment section.”

One person joked: “That scene with the ice cream scoop. So talented, so brave.”

While the majority of the comments on the Netflix trailer on YouTube were negative, the duchess has received some support from royal fans who are excited to watch the show on other platforms.

After Netflix posted the trailer to Instagram, fans of Meghan rushed to praise the duchess. One fan wrote: “This looks fabulous- I can’t wait to watch.”

A second said: “I think Meghan is such a blessing to Harry’s life. Diana would have loved her. I cannot wait to watch this.”

Another wrote: “Love this for her!”

The show will air on Netflix on January 15.
