Prince William’s rare comments about his estranged brother, Prince Harry, amid their ongoing feud have resurfaced.

Prince William publicly mentioning his estranged brother Prince Harry in his upcoming ITV documentary has certainly raised eyebrows.

The warring brothers are not believed to have spoken for more than two years since the death of their grandmother, the late Queen, with their rift widening after the release of Harry’s controversial tell-all memoir Spare, where he railed against William. In a new teaser for his ITV documentary on homelessness, William talks about his brother when recounting how their late mother, Princess Diana, took them to a homeless shelter in London to open their eyes to life without royal comforts.

He says: “My mother took me to the Passage, she took Harry and I both there… I must have been about 11, I think probably at the time, maybe 10. I’d never been to anything like that before, and I was a bit anxious as to what to expect.”

And even though it was the first time in many years that William has publicly acknowledged his brother, it seems he has talked about him in the past, even when their feud was raging. Back in early 2022, when William and wife Kate headed off on a tour of the Caribbean, the Prince of Wales talked about his brother then.

It came when the couple showed off their dance moves with nine local schoolchildren from the Garifuna Cultural Centre in Belize. During the engagement, William was reportedly asked about Harry’s previous trip to Belize in 2012 – when he also showed off his dance moves.

Cynthia Ellis-Topsy, ambassador at large for the Garifuna nation, told PEOPLE magazine : “I said to William that when [his brother] Prince Harry came to Belize he was dancing and didn’t need encouragement. He is a wild card. William laughed and said, ‘Harry’s not self-conscious’.”
