Meghan Markle wore over £73k worth of designer jewelry on tour with telling nod to Diana

During Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's controversial Colombia tour, the Duchess wore several eye-popping outfits, which she accessorised with some serious bling, including several pieces from Cartier

Meghan Markle pulled out all of the stops when it came to creating her Colombia tour outfits.

But it wasn’t just her clothes that caught the attention of fans during her recent trip with Prince Harry, so did the showstopping jewellery she wore over the course of the four-day trip, which is estimated to have been worth over £73,000. Of course, Meghan wore her diamond engagement ring and wedding band throughout the course of the visit and she paired them with a range of necklaces, bracelets and earrings from a range of brands, including high-end Cartier and Lorraine Schwartz.

On the first day of the visit alone, over the course of the three outfits she wore, she sported a Cartier Gold Tank Francaise watch, believed to have once belonged to Princess Diana, with the same models now going for £21,400 – as well as a £7,050 Cartier Love bracelet. She was also seen wearing a Lorraine Schwartz ‘Against Evil Eye’ bracelet, which is £14,223 and earrings from Pippa Small coming in at £650.

Later that day, she also donned Lanvin Arpege sleeper earrings, which come in at £225 and Birks Muse citrine and diamond drop earrings, which are £1,964 and her Cartier Juste un Clou necklace, which is £15,500. On the second day, other pieces she wore included earrings from the brand Ecksand costing £3,906 and a Logan Hollowell baby reverse water drop diamond tennis necklace, which comes in at £9,786.

Other pieces she wore on the final tour days of the tour included £212 studs and a £1,425 pendant necklace engraved with her children’s names by Ariel Gordon as well as earrings from Colombian brand Tres Almas costing £423. There were also several other pieces that Meghan wore on the tour where the price is unknown include gold fan earrings she sported on the final day of the tour, which were a gift from her host, the Colombian vice president Francia Marquez.

During a visit to a school in Bogota, she also wore a pair of butterfly earrings that once belonged to Princess Diana. t wasn’t the first time Meghan had been seen in the earrings, she first sported them several years ago when she headed on her first royal tour to Australia in 2018.

At the time, Meghan gave onlookers a glimpse of the beautiful jewel-encrusted butterfly earrings as she pushed her hair behind her ears. She also wore the earrings at the launch of her clothing collection for charity SmartWorks in 2019.
