Meghan Markle goes solo on the red carpet in strapless dress – as Prince Harry hit back at divorce rumours

Meghan Markle was a vision on Wednesday (4 December) night as she took the red carpet by storm in a strapless black gown while attending the Paley Honors Fall Gala in Beverly Hills. The Duchess of Sussex accessorised with a diamond necklace and pulled her black tresses into a tousled up do for the event, which she attended alone and beamed upon arrival.

Laughing off the speculation and taking rumours with a pinch of salt, Harry retorted: “Apparently we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We’ve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it’s just like, what?” He alluded to the numerous unfounded rumours – posted on social media by trolls – regarding his family life.

Despite the couple often going alone to events rather than together, they appear united as they tackle their own areas while standing against rumours of a split.

Meghan’s red carpet appearance comes ahead of a reported plan to return to the spotlight for the duchess, who was an actress known for her role in Suits before marrying Harry.

More recently, she participated in a revealing documentary titled Harry and Meghan, as well as Live to Lead and Heart of Invictus. Now, it’s been reported that she’s set to launch her Netflix show about “cooking, gardening and entertaining” in “early 2025”, alongside her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
