Publishers can't wait for Meghan Markle to pen her own memoir and are willing to drop "tens of millions" for it, says insider.
Meghan Markle is set to make “tens of millions” as the publishing world is reportedly in a bidding world over her bombshell memoir.
The Duchess of Sussex has long been speculated to be penning her own tell-all book, following Prince Harry’s successful release of his memoir, Spare, last year.
And now an insider has claimed that Meghan has a “remarkable story” to tell but she is just waiting to find the right timing.
The source told Closer magazine: “The word in publishing circles is that everyone’s mad to land Meghan’s memoirs and the numbers being thrown around are ridiculously high. “We’re talking tens of millions for her authorised biography – it’s going to get to the point where she can’t say no. And love her or hate her, there’s no denying that she has an insight into the royals that no one else can share.”
They added: “There’s no doubt Meghan has a remarkable story, it’s just a question of timing. She’s strategically chosen to hold off for the sake of peace, but she absolutely wants to share her truth, and why shouldn’t she when she’s endured so much?”Make no mistake, she will not be told what she can and cannot say, so when she decides that the time is right, she will write a very truthful and detailed memoir that will delve into every aspect of her journey.”
