Prince George may be destined to wear the crown, but at Lambrook School he’s just like any other kid.
Previously educated in London, the young royal now joins Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in Windsor where their lessons even include eco-friendly activities such as litter-picking. However, the 11-year-old is less than impressed with the litter problem.
Mirroring his father’s environmental ethos, George found it irritating to see the same rubbish reappear after a clean-up. Prince William revealed on a BBC podcast back in 2021 that George was rather perplexed and “annoyed” by the persistent litter issues.
He recounted George’s experience saying: “So George at school recently has been doing litter picking and I didn’t realise but talking to him the other day he was already showing that he was getting a bit confused and a bit sort of annoyed by the fact they went out litter picking one day and then the very next day they did the same route, same time and pretty much all the same litter they picked up back again.”
William further explained his son’s frustration: “And I think that for him he was trying to understand how and where it all came from. He couldn’t understand; he’s like, ‘Well, we cleaned this. Why has it not gone away?”
Prince William has recently shared more details about the school life of his son, the future King, including his new hobby of participating in triathlons, which he is believed to enjoy at his school. Meanwhile, Princess Kate, aged 42, opened up last year about Prince George’s academic journey, mentioning that the 10 year old was beginning to grapple with the daunting world of exams, reports the Express.
