Kate Middleton ‘shows real feelings’ about Prince Harry with highly unusual move

Before Prince William and Prince Harry’s widely publicised fall-out, they, alongside the Princess of Wales, were once a beloved trio undertaking Royal duties together. Despite their strained relationship in recent years, there was a fleeting moment of amicability when the Waleses publicly wished Prince Harry a happy 40th birthday last week via social media.
Though Prince William and Catherine didn’t craft the birthday message themselves, a prominent royal commentator has shed light on the gesture and pondered if the Princess of Wales may have influenced the decision to issue the warm birthday wishes to the Duke. Discussing the impact of William and Kate’s public acknowledgment on Prince Harry, former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond told OK!: “I think he would have been pleased.”
She then contemplated the possibility of a proper patch-up between the brothers, stating: “I still think things are too sensitive for a meaningful reconciliation with William, but the fact that he and Catherine authorised the greeting to be posted is definitely an unexpected turn of events. I don’t think we should hold our breath for the step to really signal the start of a reconciliation, but it was an unexpected turn of events.”
Jennie also opined about self-reflection during significant birthdays: “Landmark birthdays can often be a time for taking a look at your life and assessing how you’re doing. But on this occasion it seems to be William who has been doing some re-evaluation.”
Jennie suggests that the Duchess of Cambridge’s determination to prioritise her family may have influenced Prince William’s stance towards his brother, Harry. She said:”My gut feeling is that Catherine has been influential in this slight softening of her husband‘s implacable stand against Harry.
“In the moving film she made about the end of her chemotherapy treatment, she spoke about how cancer had given her a new perspective. What clearly matters to her more than anything now is family, and loving and being loved. Perhaps she has persuaded William that life is too short to bear grudges forever.”
