The internet has fallen head over heels for a dog who showed his “attitude” when his owner asked why he was staring out the window.
Rupert, a three-year-old Cavapoo (Cavalier King Charles and Poodle mix), lives in Suffolk, U.K, with his owners Sarah-Jane and Luke, and is described as a “very expressive dog.”
He “often gives us the side eye and hates being left out,” Sarah-Jane, 36, who gave her first name only, told Newsweek.
A video of Rupert showing utter disdain at being questioned by Sarah-Jane, as he waited for Luke, 35, to return from the store, has now gone viral showing “the attitude of a doodle is unmatched,” as the caption says.
In the clip, shared to his dedicated TikTok account @rupertandcompany on December 31, Rupert stands on two legs looking out of the window, his head between the curtains, waiting for Luke to come home.
Sarah-Jane asks him: “Do you need to be doing that?”—to which Rupert responds by jerking his head and staring straight at her, unblinking.

“Do you need to be doing that?” she asks again, adding: “He is returning soon.”
But Rupert completely ignores her, instead putting his head back through the curtains to continue his watch.
“You have such an attitude,” she laughs as the video ends.
TikTok users loved the video, which has been viewed over 800,000 times, as one commenter said Rupert’s head flick “feels like a shampoo advert.”
“The way his neck whipped,” another laughed, while one loved “the long hard stare.”
And one joked that it appeared as if Rupert was saying: “Sharon, mind your business and get on with your day.”

Rupert is part poodle, a breed known for their affectionate nature toward their family, intelligence and self-pride, according to the American Kennel Club (AKC). His other mix, the Cavalier, is also known for its grace, as well as its large, round eyes, a hallmark for the breed.
Sarah-Jane, who has a long-term disability and chronic illness, told Newsweek the sassy dog is “a big comfort to me every day.”
“It doesn’t surprise me at all that his sass is what got him attention—but I’m loving that he’s making people laugh.”
