Do you think Piers Morgan was right to call Harry & Meghan ‘spoilt brats’? Take our poll
Piers Morgan has slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for what he calls 'upstaging' Kate Middleton and Prince William with their Netflix announcement. Do you agree with him?
Piers Morgan has accused Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of being ‘spoilt brats’ for allegedly releasing a promo for their new show a mere ‘100 minutes’ after Princess Kate updated the public on her cancer battle.
Morgan made the astonishing attack in his Uncensored column, saying: “The timing was just 100 minutes apart, but it might as well have been 100 light years.”
He noted that Princess Kate posted a poignant video about her cancer journey at 4:29 pm on Monday, while Netflix unveiled a teaser for the Sussexes’ polo documentary series at 6:09 pm on the same day.
The former Good Morning Britain firebrand added: “It might just be a staggering coincidence, but if you believe that, then I have some very dodgy old Ford Cortinas to sell you.”
He went on to emphasise the stark contrast between the two royal couples, stating: “It’s clear that these separate announcements perfectly encapsulate the very different lives of these two couples now.”
Morgan praised Kate and William, contrasting their approach with Harry and Meghan’s. He described Kate and William’s announcement as “an extraordinarily moving, humble, and profoundly inspiring insight into what it’s like to face a life-threatening illness while having a loving young family, regardless of wealth or status.”

In contrast, his critique of Meghan and Harry was blunt. He continued: “The other announcement, showcasing two spoiled brat renegades who abandoned royal duty for a life of self-serving Hollywood glamour, was a nauseatingly ill-timed self-promotional plug for a sport so elite that only millionaires can play it.”
